Peter Gadsby built up substantial businesses in the construction, house building and property development spearheaded by Birch plc.  At its height Birch had a turnover of £100,000,000.  In 2001 Peter sold Birch to the Miller Group (the largest private property company in the country) for an undisclosed fee.  He then formed the Ark Capital Group which includes Miller Birch, Radleigh Homes and various joint ventures.  Turnover for 2009 will be circa £70,000,000.

Cedar House Investments Ltd is Peter’s key commercial property business of which he is Chairman and major shareholder.  Controlled by Ark Capital Cedar has become Peter’s principal property business.
